A Personal Guide to the Algarve
For visitors and residents who want more than the obvious
I'm well-travelled and have lived on the Atlantic coast for several years, and I know the region well - the right places, the quieter corners, the things most people drive past without knowing they're there.
Whether that's a coastal walk, a long lunch somewhere worth finding, a day exploring somewhere new, or simply good conversation over coffee, the focus is always on time well spent.
I'm also a competitive open water swimmer, having swum this coastline for years. For triathletes, confident open water swimmers, or anyone with a competitive swimming background, this can be part of the day, or the main focus of it.

About me
I'm Rob. I've lived in the Algarve for several years now, after years working across different countries and running a business for many years. Wherever I've been, I've always found it easy to connect with people from all backgrounds.
This region, I know well. Not just the postcard spots, but what's underneath them, the restaurants worth seeking out, the drives worth the detour, the hdden beaches, the places most visitors may never quite find.
Most mornings, you'll find me in the Atlantic. It's still the best possible start to a day.
