1. Overview

Tides Tides provides personal guiding and companionship services for visitors and residents of the Algarve who want local knowledge and good company while exploring the region. Experiences are built on genuine local knowledge, professionalism, and mutual respect. By using this website or engaging any Warm Presence service, you agree to the following terms.

2. Nature of Service

The service offered is a personal guide and companionship experience. It is not therapy, coaching, medical treatment, or counselling.
No physical intimacy, romantic activity, or any conduct outside of appropriate, professional companionship is included or implied.
Experiences may involve conversation, walking, local exploration, shared meals, or time spent at events, depending on the client's preferences. Time may be booked as one of the set experiences or arranged flexibly on an hourly basis, with the fee agreed in advance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
This service is open to all clients seeking a knowledgeable local guide and good company in a safe, professional setting.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

An introductory meeting is offered free of charge and carries no obligation.
Bookings are made by mutual agreement via email or secure form, either as one of the set experiences or on an hourly basis at an agreed rate.
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations.
In cases of late cancellation or no-show, the full agreed fee may be charged at the provider's discretion.
Clients are responsible for covering any expenses directly related to an experience, such as meals, event tickets, or activity fees.
Travel costs to and from the meeting location are included when the appointment is within the Algarve region. Engagements beyond this distance, or in another region or country, may involve additional transport or accommodation expenses agreed in advance with the client.

5. Conduct and Boundaries

Two Tides maintains strict personal and professional boundaries at all times. Any behaviour that compromises safety, respect, or appropriateness will result in immediate termination of the experience, with no refund.

6. Confidentiality

All experiences are conducted in strict confidence. Personal information shared during contact or experiences is never shared or disclosed, except where required by law.

7. Photographs and Privacy

All photographs and visual materials displayed on this website are the property of Two Tides unless otherwise stated. These images are provided solely for the purpose of representing the service and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used elsewhere without prior written permission.

Respect for personal privacy is central to Two Tides. Time shared with clients is treated as confidential and no photographs, recordings or personal information relating to meetings will be shared publicly or used for promotional purposes.

8. Liability

Two Tides is not responsible for any decisions, outcomes, or actions taken by clients before, during, or after an experience. The service is not a substitute for professional therapeutic or medical care.

9. Website Use

All content on this site is for general informational purposes only. Unauthorised use, copying, or distribution of site content is not permitted.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. By continuing to use the site or services, you agree to the current version.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from use of the service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
